Sean “Diddy” Combs and Kim Porter’s Kids Break Silence After Alleged Memoir Release

Lyndon Abioye |

The children of Sean “Diddy” Combs and the late Kim Porter have broken the silence following the release of an unofficial memoir being released on Amazon, purporting to be the lost words of the late model.

Christian Combs, twins Jessie Combs and D’Lila Combs and Quincy Taylor Brown, the biological son of Porter and singer Al B. Sure!, issued a joint statement to shut down any rumors.

“Claims that our mom wrote a book are simply untrue. She did not,”they wrote. “And anyone claiming to have a manuscript is misrepresenting themselves.”

“Please understand that any so-called ‘friend’ speaking on behalf of our mom or her family is not a friend,” the statement continued. “Nor do they have her best interests at heart.”

Chris Todd, the man behind the book, published the memoir under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood. He recently admitted that he has no idea whether the book was real.

He said he was told the book was on her flash drive.

“If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know. But it’s real enough to me,” Todd said via Rolling Stone. “Sometimes you have to just put it out there. Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is. That is to get those people to come forward and either corroborate or deny [the claims], and that helps me as an investigator to know the truth.”
