Scheana Shay is throwing some shade Lisa Vanderpump’s way and says that her new Hulu show, Vanderpump Villa, is not pulling in the big ratings she had hoped.
The former Vanderpump Rules star weighed in on the new series during a sitdown with Page Six’s podcast.
When she was asked if she felt the series was a flop, she quickly answered, “Yes.”
Scheana continued, “I don’t watch it. The only two episodes I’ve seen, I watched the season one finale because [Marciano Brunette] and [Hannah Neeleman] came to my house after, and so I wanted to watch that, and then I watched the two episodes this season that [Demi Engemann] and [Jessi Ngatikaura] and the [Secret Lives of Mormon Wives] were on. But I just wasn’t invested past that.”
Fellow former Vanderpump Rules star Stassi Schroeder joined the second season of Vanderpump Villa, but Scheana revealed it was only to help her secure her own show, Stassi Says.
“It made sense because, you know, she had a development deal with Hulu, and so trying to get her own show, I feel like that was part of the deal. So I get it, but it was kind of shocking to me because she said she would never come back to Vanderpump Rules because she didn’t want to have to have a conversation with Lisa,” Scheana went on. “And then a few months later, she’s like, going to Italy.”
Scheana has made appearances in Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley, and will reportedly join the third season with a much bigger role.
