Ryan Garcia’s ex-wife, Andrea Celina Velarde, has been granted a restraining order against the disgraced boxer after he threatened to kill her brother earlier this month at a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Garcia has two children with Velarde.
TMZ reports that Ryan showed up to a restaurant where she was dining with her sibling on July 19 and caused a scene. After threatening the brother with violence and being asked to leave, Garcia allegedly followed her home and sat outside in his car for 10 minutes.
She says he threatened to “kill” her brother if she did not take his calls or call her.
The boxer allegedly texted “It’s f-cking WAR … I want to murder your … Brother. I can’t wait. We are going to kill him.” She also claims he texted her … “I’ll kill your dad and your brother at the same time.”
Garcia must remain at least 100 yards away from his ex and their two children and he has been ordered to move out of their home and must delete or destroy any explicit photos or videos he may have of Andrea.
Andrea has already reportedly tried to have the order rescinded.
