Russell Simmons has a new lady in his life. Media Take Out confirmed that Russell, 66, and his longtime friend LisaRaye McCoy, 58, are dating.
It’s the first age appropriate girlfriend that Russell has had in years.
Russell is currently living in Bali, and LisaRaye took a trip to the Asian paradise to meet up with her new bae.
Russell is an American entrepreneur, writer and record executive. He co-founded the hip-hop label Def Jam Recordings, and created the clothing fashion lines Phat Farm, Argyleculture, and Tantris. He has promoted veganism and a yoga lifestyle, and published books on lifestyle health & entrepreneurship. Simmons’ net worth was estimated at $340 million in 2011.
After producing or managing artists such as Kurtis Blow, Run DMC, Whodini, and Jimmy Spicer, Simmons joined forces with producer Rick Rubin to found Def Jam Recordings. Lisaraye is an American actress. She is best known for portraying Diana “Diamond” Armstrong in the 1998 film The Players Club, Neesee James on the UPN/The CW sitcom All of Us from 2003 until 2007 and Keisha Greene in the VH1 romantic comedy series Single Ladies which originally aired from 2011 to 2015.
She was also married to Michael Misick, the first Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, from 2006 until 2010; during that time she served as First Lady of Turks and Caicos.
