In a recent interview, Rubi Rose admitted that she does not write her own raps and that she doesn’t think it is a big deal.

Appearing on the Joe Budden podcast, she was asked about her pen game but confessed others write her rhymes.

“People know how to make sh-t sound cool,” she shared. “Everybody uses writers though, realistically. When people say they don’t, I don’t know, maybe you really don’t. But like, literally, I feel like everybody uses writers so it’s not a big deal.”

Rubi Rose first rose to fame after she starred in the Migos’ video for “Bad and Boujee.”

Melyssa Ford asked her ahow old she was at the time. She said she was “16 or 17,” but later, after uproar from fans, clarified that she was actually 18.

“I was 18 in the ‘Bad and Boujee’ video y’all,” she wrote on social media. “My bad.” The video was filmed when she was 18 but she was actually 19 when it was released.
