Oluwatomisin Sanni aka RNB Tomi, the founder and CEO of music platform RNB RADAR has denied allegations of abuse, pedophilia and rape after an ex-girlfriend and other stepped forward to make some serious allegations against him.
“I have cheated on my past partners, both physically and through social media/text by sending explicit images,” he wrote in a statement to Twitter before deactivating his account. “Instead of handling these situations maturely and ending the relationships, I resorted to gaslighting and verbally attacking the women involved.”
He continued, “I apologize to all my past employees for creating a hostile work environment through my verbal interactions and for abruptly letting you go without adequate explanation. I cannot proudly call myself a CEO when this is how I have treated my team and those who have supported me the most. After reading all your opinions and stories about your experiences with me online, I have been awakened to the reality of my actions and how I have treated fellow curators, tastemakers and others in the music industry.”
His ex accused him of mental and physical abuse. Tomi has since stepped down from the company as CEO.
