Ciara Miller reportedly found out about Amanda Batula and West Wilson before they publicly confirmed their relationship… but it seems she has a global superstar in her corner helping her move on from Bravo’s Bad Boy, Wilson.
Rihanna, who is a major Bravo fan, unfollowed Amanda on social media. Sources say that she has been in Ciara’s DMs and is trying to set her up on a date with an A-list celebrity.
TMZ that the Summer House star came across a video allegedly showing Amanda and West together inside his apartment before the pair announced they were dating.
According to the report, the footage upset Ciara, who previously dated West. Sources also claim Amanda and West were unaware they were being recorded (allegedly by West’s neighbor). The discovery came shortly before Amanda and West released a joint statement on March 31 confirming their romance.
One source told the news outlet that Amanda reached out to Ciara by text on Monday afternoon to give her a heads-up. Amanda allegedly told her former close friend that she “never meant to hurt her” and explained that she wanted time to understand her own feelings for West before speaking to Ciara directly.
Amanda and West later addressed the relationship in a joint Instagram statement.
“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they wrote. The pair added that they needed “a little space” before speaking publicly because of the “complicated relationship dynamics involved.”
“Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship,” Amanda and West said.
Ciara has not publicly commented on the statement. Amanda’s estranged husband has, and says that while he has no idea of the timeline, he believes West is not serious about her.
“West seems to be the kind of guy playing multiple women at the same time,” he said in a recent interview. He later added, “I can imagine West is using the same charm that he’s used on just about every other chick.”
West was reportedly seeing several women when the joint statement was released. Some reports state that he was even casually seeing Ciara again, as they tried to figure out whether their relationship was worth a second run.
Fans have been working hard to help Ciara reach 1 million followers on Instagram. Now that Rihanna is also backing the Bravolebrity, it seems some good may come from this messy scandal.
