Ricky Martin has denied allegations of domestic violence after a man filed for a temporary restraining order against him.
Police have been trying to serve him with the order but cannot track him down.
“The allegations against Ricky Martin that lead to a protection order are completely false and fabricated,” representatives for Martin told PEOPLE. “We are very confident that when the true facts come out in this matter our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated.”
The Puerto Rico police are still trying to find him.
“Up until now, police haven’t been able to find him,” police spokesman Axel Valencia told the AP. The person did not file a report with the police, but went directly to the court. Court papers state that Martin allegedly dated the unidentified man for seven months and broke it off. But that Martin was not happy with being dumped.
Telemundo reports that the person who filed the order is not Martin’s husband, Jwan Yosef. He has been with Yosef since 2017 and they married in secret the year after.
