The cause of death for Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan rapper, who died last month, has been revealed and has been ruled “an accidental drug overdose.
According to the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office, the rapper’s system was contained fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine and THC.
The medical exam also showed no signs of trauma.
Quan’s brother shared that earlier on the night on September 5th, he found the rapper asleep on the kitchen floor with food in his mouth. He then moved his brother onto the couch.
Quan’s longtime girlfriend and mother of his child, Amber Williams, says she woke up and discovered he was not in the bedroom. She found him asleep on the sofa and left the home to take her son to school. She then took a nap and went to the couch to check on him and found that his body was lifeless and cold. She then called 911.
