Sutton Stracke is shedding more light on where things stand with Garcelle Beauvais after their friendship unexpectedly fell apart.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 54, opened up on the season 15 premiere about being blindsided by Garcelle’s decision to cut contact following her exit from the show after the season 14 reunion.
“It’s a lot of questions about Garcelle from cast members, and press, and my friends, and the world,” Sutton said during a December interview with Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “I have been a little taken aback by it.”
Sutton shared that she has reached out privately in an effort to repair things.
“I’ve told her a lot in text messages, including many apologies,” she said. “I just said, ‘I’m just not sure for what, but help me understand what I’ve done in this friendship.’ So it’s a shame that we didn’t get to have a one-on-one conversation.”
Garcelle, 59, previously offered her perspective during an October appearance on Watch What Happens Live, explaining why she stepped back from the relationship. “Not only did she not have my back, she also, when she called me, never took accountability for it,” Garcelle told Andy Cohen. “That hurt my feelings a lot. We were really close.”
