Potomac Housewife Gizelle Bryant has given an update about Karen Huger’s time behind bars.
“I have been in contact with someone who’s very close to [Karen] about her safety and all that, and from what I understand, they love her up in where she is right now. She is running that thing … So I feel very good about the fact that she’s safe,” Gizelle said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Gizelle also revealed that she’s spoken to Ray and says that he’s “still adjusting.”
Karen is currently serving a one-year prison sentence following a DUI conviction. In February 2025, she was sentenced to two years in prison, with one year suspended, after a March 2024 incident where she crashed her Maserati in Potomac… marking her fourth alcohol-related driving offense since 2006.
Prior to her sentencing, Karen entered a private recovery program in Florida and has since been active in Alcoholics Anonymous. She expressed remorse for her actions. It is reported that she could be out as soon as November, on good behavior.
