Real Housewives of Potomac star Gizelle Bryant has reacted to the sentencing of her longtime friend, Karen Huger.
Karen was sentenced to two years behind bars, with one year suspended and hit with a $2,900 fine.
“I am shook,” she said per US Weekly. “This just happened today. I do not have her wigs. I am concerned. In all seriousness, I am concerned for her safety. Karen ain’t cut out for jail.”
Gizelle and her Reasonably Shady podcast cohost, Robyn Dixon predicted weeks back that Karen would do some jail time.
According to prosecutors, Last year’s incident was her fourth DUI.
“Ms. Huger has repeatedly been given the benefit of another chance on three separate occasions,” prosecutor Jordan Karamer wrote. “She has not learned anything from her prior arrests.”
“I pray that she’s OK and that the Lord is with her,” Gizelle added of her friend.
Gizelle was one of the only Housewives Karen thanked in her video message played at the reunion.
