Although she doesn’t have any proof, Gizelle Bryant says she believes that Wendy Osefo started the rumors about her dating Cynthia Bailey’s ex-husband, Peter Thomas.
“[Peter’s involvement] very much has nothing to do with Gizelle, but all of a sudden, ‘Gizelle is dating Peter,'” Gizelle told The Grio. “Some people wanted to throw the scent off of them … that came out in the blogs the second — or maybe third — day that we were in Miami, and I’m like, ‘hmmm, this ain’t a coincidence!’ So, it’s very direct, and it was a very direct attempt to try to sway people off of whatever she was doing with Peter, and when I say she, I mean Wendy.”
After the rumors circulated, Gizelle was forced to speak out to shoot the rumors down.
“I’ve known Peter for years. Peter comes around the group. I didn’t bring him around the group, someone else did. No, Peter and I have never dated, will not date. I think he’s a great guy, but not for me,” she told E! News at the time, adding that “Peter is an absolute no” because she loves Cynthia.
