Ashley Darby, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Potomac, did not mince words when asked about her ongoing issues with fellow RHOP cast member Wendy Osefo.
When Andy Cohen asked her why Wendy refused to speak to her backstage at BravoCon, Ashley said, “Nothing happened.”
She explained that the tension stems from an apology she previously made, clarifying that it was never meant for Wendy herself.
“My apology that I gave to her was to her children more than anyone else, and I stand by that apology,” Ashley said.
She says that Wendy’s kids were “innocent bystanders in all of this,” drawing a firm line between them and their mother. When pressed on whether she owed Wendy an apology directly, Ashley was unequivocal. “No. It’s to her family, to her children,” she said, before adding, “And Wendy can also go kick rocks.”
Ashley went on to explain that the apology was tied to jokes she made on her show on the day Wendy was arrested.
“I made some jokes. The day that she got arrested I said that Zen Wen was in the pen,” she admitted. Still, she showed no interest in repairing the relationship, repeatedly stressing that the apology was “not to Wendy” and reaffirming her stance without hesitation.
