‘RHOP’s Angel Massie Blasts Gizelle Bryant’s Fake Apology: She Intended To Embarass Me!

Angel Massie is speaking her truth about where she stands with her Real Housewives of Potomac castmates, and during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she opened up about why she no longer believes Gizelle Bryant’s apology was genuine.

“At first, I honestly thought she meant it,” Angel explained. “But later I found out she went and talked about me after, and that changed everything.”

Angel also addressed Gizelle’s comments about her social media photos, which included a “catfish” accusation that rubbed her the wrong way.

“She definitely meant to embarrass me,” Angel said. “It’s 2025—can we please stop telling women how they should look or what they can post? I decide how I show up online, not anyone else.”

Angel didn’t shy away from discussing her tension with Jassi Rideaux either. She said she appreciated that Jassi came to her privately about rumors she wasn’t friendly, rather than bringing it up in front of everyone. But when Wendy Osefo later asked about their chat, Angel started to wonder if Jassi had been talking behind her back. “In that moment, I felt like I was being set up again,” she said. “It felt like another ‘gotcha’ situation.”

According to Angel, that misunderstanding was eventually cleared up. “After the trip, Jassi explained it wasn’t meant like that, and I believed her,” she noted. “But after everything that happened, it really did feel like the peak of my whole experience.”

Angel also wanted to set the record straight about viewers’ thinking her mood kept changing. “People think I switched my energy, but I never did,” she said. “I might’ve looked fine on camera, but I was upset the entire time. I’m a Pisces—sometimes I’ll smile when I’m mad, which makes things confusing. But during that F, Marry, Kill game, I was just trying to hold it together.”

Looking back, Angel says her feelings toward Gizelle haven’t shifted since that moment. “Where I stand with her now is the same as before,” she said simply.
