Former Real Housewives of Potomac star Mia Thornton is facing a felony theft charge after allegedly taking thousands of dollars worth of furniture and a television from a furnished Atlanta condo.
According to court documents TMZ obtained, the Fulton County District Attorney has charged Mia with felony theft in connection with an alleged incident on Oct. 28, 2025.
Prosecutors claim Mia and an associate, Jared McGriff, removed property valued between $5,000 and $25,000 while moving out of the condo in the middle of the night.
The alleged incident occurred weeks before Mia was arrested at an Atlanta airport in November 2025. The breaking news outlet later obtained video footage of the reality star’s arrest.
After the arrest, Mia addressed her circumstances on social media, saying she was trying to stay “grounded” amid the “chaos.”
Mia became a familiar face to Bravo viewers when she joined The Real Housewives of Potomac during its sixth season. She remained on the series through Season 9 before moving down to Atlanta. It was rumored that she could potentially join the cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but this did not come to fruition.
