Sonja Morgan’s ex-husband, John Adams Morgan, the father of her only child, Quincy Adams Morgan, has passed away at 94 years of age.
“I want to take the opportunity to tell you all myself that my father passed away this month,” Sonja’s daughter Quincy shared, adding, “My family is navigating this together. I very much loved and admired my dad. I am so grateful for the love and care I have been shown in these past weeks.”
Fans first met Sonja in 2010 on season three of the show. At the time, she was embroiled in a messy divorce with John and she was knee-deep in debt with no support from her ex. John, heir to the J.P. Morgan fortune, worked at Dominick & Dominick and Smith Barney before starting his own firm, Morgan Lewis Githens & Ahn, Inc., in 1982.
He was worth a reported $100 million at the time of his death.
Last month, Sonja finally sold her NYC townhouse for $4.5 million.
