former Real Housewives of New York star Ramona Singer has been accused of using the n-word while filming her last season of the show.
A Vanity Fair story alleges Ramona used the N-word in conversation with a Black crew member during production on Season 13 in 2020 and 2021. A former RHONY producer Darian Edmondson, who is Black, says Ramona used the slur after filming a conversation with Eboni K. Williams.
After the cameras were turned off, Darian told her the conversation reminded her of when Jewish colleagues called her a “shiksa,” a Yiddish word for a non-Jewish woman. She told Ramona, “Ramona, I have no idea what you’re talking about,” Ramona allegedly responded, “Oh, it’s literally like somebody calling you a n—-r.”
Other instances of racism were included in the story. Roamona has always denied being a racist, but when filming the show with Black Housewives for the first time, fans noticed how uncomfortable she seemed at times and was terrified to talk about race.
