Teresa Giudice is feeling the strain as cameras stay dark on The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
A source reportedly told RADAR ONLINE that the longtime star is “devastated the show remains on pause,” adding that the uncertainty has left her more anxious than she lets on.
RHONJ has been off the air since Season 14 and insiders say there is still “no word” on whether it will return. For Teresa, who built much of her career in front of Bravo viewers, the silence is unsettling.
“Teresa and Luis definitely do want it to return for financial reasons,” the insider shares.
“She also is a star and loves being on TV, and being off this long on a show she helped make famous and was the star of is definitely a blow to the ego.”
Teresa’s financial pressures are no secret. She is currently facing a $303,889.20 tax lien while her husband, Luis Ruelas, is grappling with nearly $2.6 million in tax debt, along with an additional lien from last year.
Teresa also recently made amends with her brother Joe Gorga and his wife, Melissa Gorga, after years of feuding.
