Teresa Giudice may be trying to keep the peace with Melissa Gorga, but one insider claims the Real Housewives of New Jersey star is also keeping her options open.
A source told Reality Blurb that Teresa’s recent decision to refollow Danielle Staub was not random.
“Danielle reached out to the entire cast to touch base and obviously let them know she’s still around,” the insider said, claiming Teresa “took the bait” and began communicating with her again.
The source alleged there is “always a motive” when Teresa reconnects with Danielle, whose history with Teresa on RHONJ has been explosive. Danielle returned to the group years ago as Teresa’s ally, but their bond fell apart after Danielle pulled Margaret Josephs’ hair and later said Teresa told her to do it.
Now, the insider claims Danielle may have old emails from Melissa about Teresa, including alleged messages in which Melissa expressed interest in joining the show. The source said Teresa may want “something in her back pocket to expose Melissa” if their renewed truce falls apart.
Teresa and Melissa’s relationship has been one of RHONJ’s longest-running family beefs. The sisters-in-law clashed for years after Melissa joined the series alongside Joe Gorga, Teresa’s brother, and Teresa was not happy about the unwelcome addition to the show.
Though the women have recently made amends, the insider said the peace may be fragile, adding that the cast would “double down” on the relationship exploding before the season ends.
