Melissa Gorga is reportedly at risk from being fired from The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Despite Andy Cohen stating that the show would still be great without Melissa or Teresa Giudice…producers do not agree.
“Higher-ups are saying if there’s no Teresa, there is no show,” a source told The Sun U.S. “If anyone’s going to be out, it’s Melissa. She could potentially be on the chopping block. From what’s being discussed, I would be nervous if I were her.”
There’s “no RHONJ without [Teresa],” they added.
The network still plans to move forward with newcomer Jennifer Fessler and Jackie Goldschneider is out.
“She doesn’t bring much to the table,” the source said of Jackie.
Teresa initially wanted Melissa off the show, but she has since changed her mind.
“Teresa said that she will film with Melissa and she’ll just ignore her like she has done in the past. At the end of the day, she’s not going to say no to her job. She needs income to pay for her daughters’ college funds. She wants to support the girls on her own and not use [her husband Luis Ruelas]’s money.”
