‘RHONJ’ in Chaos as Bravo Struggles to Lock Season 15 Cast

Lyndon Abioye |

The future of The Real Housewives of New Jersey is still taking shape as Bravo continues its search for the right mix of personalities for season 15.

A source TOLD Us Weekly that a new third-party casting team has been brought in to shake things up after producers struggled to land on a winning formula.

According to the insider, test filming conducted last summer failed to impress. “They didn’t like the newcomers who were test filming,” the source said, noting that the goal now is to find women who better reflect the breadth of life across New Jersey. Diversity and geography are said to be top priorities.

Casting is expected to move quickly in the coming weeks, though the current cast remains in limbo.

None of the current cast members know yet if they are coming back,” the source shared, adding that a full reboot is still on the table.

RHONJ has been on pause since season 14 wrapped in August 2024, leaving the group with deep divisions. Since then, several stars have undergone major personal shifts, including Teresa Giudice reconciling with her brother Joe Gorga and sister-in-law Melissa.

Bravo boss Andy Cohen previously assured fans the franchise is not canceled. “It was really on a deep pause,” he said on The View, adding that the network is “actively casting and looking at the future.”
