Rhode Island Senator Sandra Mack Twerks for Votes – But WHAT ARE HER POLICIES?? (Video)

Media Take Out Staff |

Rhode Island’s youngest Black state senator Sandra Mack is going viral after she embarrassed and humiliated herself by releasing a TikTok video twerking for votes, Media Take Out has learned.

Here’s the video that has the entire internet going wild.

And Sandra’s complaining about the disapproving social media response.

She has defended her actions on Twitter.com and is blaming the news media for her problems.

“Damn. Twerking upside down really makes the conservative, unhinged internet accounts pop off on a Monday. can the media cover any policy wins had by the youngest Black state senator in Rhode Island? can the media also cover the 10+ bills I sponsored that the @RISenate never scheduled for a hearing?

As a Black, queer woman you all should know the answer. It’s no. Let them carry on their narrative. Me? I’m going to be joyful, free, and unbothered.”

But who exactly is Sandra Mack? Media Take Out did some digging, and here’s what we know.

Sandra is an educated 28-year-old Democrat who was among a group of young Black LGBT+ lawmakers who made history when they were elected to public office in 2020. She assumed office on Jan. 5, 2021.

She is openly lesbian, was raised in Georgia and South Carolina by a single mother who worked as a teacher and struggled financially.

Sandra moved to Providence, Rhode Island in 2012 and earned a BA in public health in 2016.

As you can imagine, the internet is going crazy with her video.

One person commented that she ‘set the race back years with this’, Mack replied: ‘This is tacky. This is lazy. What? No, baby girl – this ain’t it.’

Another person commented: ‘I don’t ever wanna hear you complain about how ‘women aren’t respected in this country’ after posting this.’

Mack responded: ‘Honey baby. This ain’t it. Because I have an Ivy League degree and I’m a sitting state senator. It’s not about what I’m wearing. It’s not about what I’m doing. They won’t respect me regardless.’
