Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Judge says that she would be treated very differently had she been the cast member who got arrested for a DUI instead of Shannon Beador.
Tamra appeared as a guest on Lala Kent‘s podcast, where she spoke about the hate she has been receiving online and her decision to return to the show after publicly quitting.
“They would be killing me [if I got a DUI]. And it comes up, [Gina Kirschenheiter] talks about how I’m held to a different standard in this group. Everybody else can do and say things, but if I do it, oh my god … It’s at the point now where I’m like, ‘What? I just don’t know if I can do this anymore. Honestly,’” she told Lala.
Tamra is widely considered one of the messiest cast members. Even though Shannon racked up a DUI, viewers still treat her with more warmth than her former bestie.
“I can’t hold the whole show all the time, and they want to pick on every word I say to make it a storyline, but yet other people say things far worse,” she a. “If ddedI would have said what [Gretchen Rossi] said to Shannon, ‘DUI’s illegal,’ oh my god, I would’ve been annihilated. It would’ve been talked about for the next 10 episodes.”
