Real Housewives of Orange County producers had to “step in” and speak with Shannon Beador about her angry outbursts during filming.
Though the Bravo star is “typically” very sweet and caring, Shannon allegedly directed her anger at both cast and crew during season 19’s tense moments. This season, she has been involved in several aggressive showdowns, particularly with co-star Katie Ginella.
A source claimed Shannon struggled to leave that “aggressive” energy behind once the cameras stopped rolling. “[Shannon] had to be told to cool it more than once. To take her anger out on the problem or even the cast, not the people, just doing their jobs,” the source told The U.S. Sun.
“Production had to step in and have a word with Shannon about the way she can speak to the filming crew sometimes.”
The insider added: “When emotions get heated, Shannon lets her anger get the best of her… But in the moment when things are tense, the claws come out.”
It’s reportedly not the first time Shannon’s behavior toward staff has been addressed. The insider pointed to Love Hotel, the Peacock spinoff, where host Joel Kim Booster previously accused her of treating the crew as “subhuman.”
In a now-deleted Instagram Story, Joel said: “Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality show… does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period.”
He later apologized, admitting he “deeply regrets” the posts.
