The Real Housewives world is buzzing again, and this time it’s Emily Simpson sharing her thoughts on Wendy and Eddie Osefo’s recent fraud charges.
During an interview on Virtual Reali-Tea, the Real Housewives of Orange County star spoke candidly about the case and didn’t sound optimistic about the couple’s situation.
“I know Wendy and I think she’s lovely. She’s always been so kind to me anytime I’ve met her,” Emily said. Despite that, she admitted that what she’s read about the case doesn’t look good.
“I did kind of dig into their case and read about it. It doesn’t look great. I’ll just say that,” she added. “I do hope that she has some kind of solid defense. I know I read some things about them saying the search might have been illegal. I don’t know. It seems like they have a lot of evidence against them. It doesn’t look amazing.”
Wendy and Eddie were arrested last month in Maryland after being accused of staging a burglary at their home in April 2024.
The pair is facing several felony charges connected to what prosecutors allege was a false insurance claim involving luxury items. Investigators say some of the supposedly stolen pieces were later returned for refunds and that Wendy was spotted wearing one of the missing items after the alleged break-in.
