‘RHOBH’s Sutton Stracke Faces Backlash From Kyle Richards Over Sedona Confrontation

Tension simmered on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after Kyle Richards weighed in on Sutton Stracke’s now viral “missy” comment, calling it condescending during a recent episode.

The moment unfolded during the cast’s trip to Sedona, when Sutton appeared irritated with newcomer Amanda Frances following a tense group dinner.

The next morning, Sutton confronted Amanda in the kitchen, a tone that immediately raised eyebrows. “It wasn’t like, ‘How dare she,’” Amanda said on the Jan. 15 episode of the After Show. “It was more like, ‘Who does she think I am?’ Why are we ‘hey missy’-ing in the kitchen at eight in the morning? It had an attitude.”

Kyle, 55, agreed with Amanda’s read of the situation. “It feels condescending, absolutely,” she said. “It’s definitely not an endearing term. She thought you had something up your sleeve.”

Amanda later noted that the tension has since eased. “I think she knows me now,” she said. “She knows I don’t come in with agendas.” Kyle added that at the time, Sutton did not trust her.

Months later, Amanda said Sutton’s reaction made more sense, especially given Sutton’s ongoing efforts at personal growth. Sutton herself admitted she was being “sassy,” while castmates had mixed reactions.
