Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Garcelle Beauvais called Dorit Kemsley out for being a “Karen” after she accused the show’s first Black Housewife of “attacking” her during a calm conversation.
In the recent episode, Garcelle and Dorit had a sitdown, and Garcelle tried to explain to Dorit why using the word “attack” when referring to a conversation with a Black woman.
Garcelle had ZERO issues with Dorit until she made that comment about her kids being exposed to diversity through her Black, Filipino and Latino staff. Garcelle called her out on it and since then, Dorit’s been mad. That’s what it boils down to. #RHOBH pic.twitter.com/yqI7F7oY6V

“The other night the word attack just hit me in the wrong place. There are certain words when you point them at me it has a complete different impact. There are three words you don’t say to Black women. You don’t say aggressive, you don’t say attack and you don’t say angry, because that’s labeling us,” she said
Garcelle continued, “What I feel is there’s a pattern with you that I don’t know whether you’re aware or not, but I’m just going to be completely blunt, it feels like an unconscious Karen behavior with you.”
Dorit told Garcelle she was “Jewish” and that it was ridiculous to imply she could be speaking with any racialized undertones because the Jewish community is also a margianlized one.
