Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne is still married to her estranged husband Tom Girardi and fans want to know why she isn’t divorced yet.
“In the order of all of the problems I’m facing, it’s probably the absolute last thing,” Erika told ET. “I just don’t think about it. The day I filed for divorce and we were legally separated, that was it for me. We are in very different places. I have a lot to clean up and pick up and move on.”
“We all have to do it our own way. Nobody’s gonna look out for you but yourself,” she added. “Even after a two decade-plus marriage, that’s what it came down to, looking out for yourself.”
Last year, Erika was dismissed from a lawsuit that alleged that her husband embezzled $2 million from the families of victims of the 2018 Lion Air crash in Indonesia. Her husband was indicted in February in U.S. District Court in Chicago in connection with the Lion Air case and was charged with 12 counts: Nine counts allege wire fraud, and three allege misconduct by court officer. Erikae filed for divorce in November 2020.
