The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie Amanda Frances revealed on an episode of The Viall Files that she has thought about buying Dorit’s reported $6.5 million home amid Dorit’s financial battle with estranged husband Paul “PK” Kemsley.
“Sometimes I consider buying it,” Amanda told the Vialls. “If it wasn’t so modern, if it wasn’t so pigeonholed in this one specific style, and I thought we’d have an easier time renovating it into something that would make us money, I think I would absolutely consider buying it.” She added, “I like … the headline, ‘Money Queen Buys House…’ [But] I don’t think it’d be a fun renovation for us.”
Amanda said she had already questioned how much Dorit knew about her own household finances during RHOBH.
“I was trying to understand how much understanding she had of her finances … and she didn’t know,” Amanda recalled. “If you want to save the home, pay the mortgage and spend less on designer clothes … I love to shop, but I would never not pay my mortgage.”
Dorit filed for divorce in April 2025, citing irreconcilable differences, and requested sole custody of their two children and spousal support. PK later sought joint custody. Court filings have also included competing claims about the Encino home, alleged missed mortgage payments, and luxury spending.
Dorit’s lawyers claimed PK was using a foreclosure threat as a legal tactic, while PK argued that selling the home was necessary to protect its equity.
