Bozoma Saint John is speaking about her fertility journey while responding to critics who have questioned her decision to pursue IVF.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star recently addressed online comments she has received about trying to have a child with her fiancé, Keely Watson. Saint John, who is in her late 40s, said some social media users have criticized the process and even questioned her relationship.

“In my comments, people will say, ‘You’re too old. Why would you try this?’” she said in an interview with Us Weekly. “You have no idea what’s going on in my body or in my relationship.”

Saint John explained that sharing her experience publicly was intentional. She hopes discussing the challenges around fertility can help normalize conversations that many people avoid.

“When somebody talks about the difficulty of getting pregnant or losing babies along the way, it’s not something we usually share,” she said. “Everybody wants the happy ending.”

The reality star has been open about the emotional and physical toll of IVF treatments, including hormone injections and medical procedures. Despite the difficulties, she remains hopeful about starting a family with Watson.

“I want a chance at a happy pregnancy,” she said.

Saint John is already a mother to her teenage daughter, Lael, whom she welcomed with her late husband, Peter Saint John.
