Brandi Glanville is supporting former New York Housewife Leah McSweeney’s lawsuit alleging a toxic work environment.
Leah accuses Cohen and others of “pressuring” her to consume alcohol to amp up the drama and boost viewership. Leah recealled relapsing on Season 12 of “Real Housewives of New York City” to missing her grandmother’s death during a Hamptons trip the following year.
A production source told Vanity Fair that Leah was offered help at the time for “whatever day or time [she] need[ed] to be with [her] grandmother,” and that they meant it as a kind gesture.
After quitting the series over the phone, Leah then agreed to do a week of “RHUGT” filming for $250,000, during which many of her fellow cast members encouraged her to drink. She says she felt she was unable to leave the trip.
“👏👏 We are NOT expendable. We are strong women & even stronger together. Time to take our power back ⭐️,” Brandi wrote on X.
Brandi has publicly demanded an apology from Cohen. He has not apologized to her.
