‘RHOBH’ Alum Annemarie Wiley Says Garcelle Beauvais Is “Competitive & Unkind to Other Black Women”

Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Annemarie Wiley says that she was warned to watch out for Garcelle Beauvais before she started filming for the show and that the actress wants to be the only Black woman on the show.

Annemarie says she has some friends in “A-list Black Hollywood.”

“When I started filming for the show, they warned me. They really said ‘Just watch your back.’ Because there was an era in, you know, Black Hollywood or whatever you want to call it, where there could only be one. And she’s from that era. They’re competitive with each other because they’re like … ‘I’m gonna be the one to shine, so you can’t shine.'”

Garcelle recently announced her exit from the show after clashing with Bozoma Saint John, the newest Black Housewives, during the reunion.

Garcelle had also shared a message on her social media, seemingly taking a jab at Boz and posting, “Not All Skinfolk Are Kinfolk.”

“She’s very competitive and unkind to the other Black women,” Annemarie continued. “And she’s always, like, the race card. The race card has to stop. When you’re constantly blaming everything on race, you are really watering down the scenarios when it actually does happen, so that when they do happen, no one believes it anymore. It’s very, very damaging, I think, to the community.”
