Real Housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton has addressed Porsha Williams’ comments about wanting to sleep with newcomer Angela Oakley’s husband, and appeared remorseful for laughing during a recent interview.
Porsha was upset with Angela for inviting Drew Sidora along to a group trip, and threatened to sleep with Charles Oakley in retaliation. Porsha initially denied making the remarks but later copped to it, blaming it on the alcohol, but Angela was more upset with Shamea for laughing alongside Porsha.
“They were beefing. So, I knew she was being shady when she said it. But I don’t play about black marriage or marriage period. I want people to stay together. I wouldn’t play about mine. When I said of course on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ that hey, if you can take him, then you can keep him. But at the end of the day, no that’s not a laughing matter,” Shamea said on The Breakfast Club.
Shamea continued, “I hate that she said it but me and Angela weren’t friends and her and Angela weren’t friends. And she was ki-ki-ing with me, her friend and so we laughed. We laugh about a lot of dark stuff that we shouldn’t laugh about. Porsha doesn’t want Charles, to be clear. And for those that say, but she took…that ain’t her thing. I know her and that ain’t her thing.”
Porsha has also apologized to Angela for her comments and claims she has no intention of sleeping with Charles.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sunday on Bravo at 8/7c and streams the following day on Peacock.
