Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams is asking a judge to allow her to attend the upcoming hearing for her divorce via Zoom, so that she does not have to come face to face with her estranged husband in an Atlanta courtroom.
Porsha claims she has an opportunity to earn some money at the time of the hearing and that she will not be in the country.
“[Porsha] is a well-known reality television personality, a career in which last-minute travel and unexpected opportunities frequently arise. [Porsha] shows that this employment opportunity would help [Porsha] offset the numerous financial obligations that [Simon] has failed to maintain under the Temporary Order, as well as to offset the significant legal expenses [Porsha] has already incurred in pursuing enforcement of the parties’ Prenuptial Agreement and defending herself against [Simon] as it relates to the instant divorce action,” her motion reads.

During the hearing, the judge will hear from Porsha why the prenuptial agreement should be enforced, but Simon Guobadia is arguing against it. According to Simon, she misrepresented some things when negotiating the contract.
“The motion to enforce the Prenuptial Agreement is a substantive motion that requires findings of fact by this Court. The outcome of the motion will also have a substantial effect on how the remainder of the divorce case proceeds, as it may be dispositive of some of the issues and result in litigation on others,” his attorneys wrote.
Simon has been in ICE custody since February. ICE agents will reportedly escort him to the courtroom, but insiders have told InTouch Weekly that he expects to be freed within the next few weeks.
