Apollo Nida, the ex-husband of ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Phaedra Parks’ mugshot, has been released to the public.
The arrest took place after his wife, Sherien Almufti, accused him of physically assaulting her.
Sherien called law enforcement to the home on March 11. She then told them that she had returned home from a bar after consuming three alcoholic beverages before they got into an argument about how “they were cheating on each other,” according to reports.

Sherien claims Apollo showed her a video of her kissing another man and that he “pulled her by the hair and pushed by against a refrigerator.” After their skirmish, she then ran outside and called for help.
When officers arrived, Apollo had left. Sherien had video evidence of their verbal altercation but not of their physical altercation and the cops did not observe “any marks or bruises that showed [Copes] was in a physical altercation,” and she “denied medical attention when offered.”
Apollo was charged with domestic violence and simple assault. He posted a $3,000 bond and was released hours later. The couple says the whole incident was just a “misunderstanding,” and they are a happy couple once again.
