Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams recently shared a touching birthday post for her former bestie, Shamea Morton…but Kelli Ferrell thinks her motives behind the post were not as innocent as people may think.
Porsha shared a slideshow of pictures highlighting their friendship over the years in the post.
Porsha and Shamea have fallen out since filming for the show, as Shamea revealed that she was hurt that Porsha did not attend her wedding and that she did not want her on the show.
According to Kelli, Shamea had been trying to connect with Porsha, seemingly to try and repair their friendship.
“I’ve seen Shamea reach out to her numerous times and try and support her and it was never reciprocated,” Ferrell told Decider, adding that Porsha was “not willing” to share the spotlight with Shamea once she was promoted to a full-time cast member. “I think that the fans seeing who she really is, she’s not handling it too well or accepting it too well.”
Kelli also said she believes their issues have very little to do with the group.
“Oh, absolutely. At the end of the day, I love Shamea and I only want the best for her. They have been friends for a very long time, and I just hope that whatever transpires and whatever has been transpiring for some time, because I don’t even think that what they have going on is from this friend group, I think it’s decades of some trauma and I hope that they can work it out.”
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo at 8/7c and streams the following day on Peacock.
