‘RHOA’ Ratings Hit New Low As Phaedra Parks Makes Her Debut

Tiffany Brockworth |

Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta marked the return of Phaedra Parks, but according to statistics, the episode also marked a new low for viewership.

According to TVDeets, just 464,000 live viewers tuned in with a 0.09 demo rating in adults 18–49, marking the lowest-rated episode in the show’s 16-season history.

By comparison, the Season 16 premiere drew approximately 2.5 million viewers.

Fans are blaming the dip in ratings on the firing of Kenya Moore, who was given the axe following her shock revenge p*rn antics during the launch of her hair spa.

Viewers have also been turned off by Porsha Williams’ behavior this season. Fans say that Porsha does not have much of a storyline this year, except for targeting Drew Sidora for working with her baby’s father, Dennis McKinley, and throwing shade at her former best friend, Shamea Morton.

Phaedra’s return was supposed to boost ratings but Bravo’s plans have not hit the mark.

Viewers are calling for Bravo to reinstate Kenya’s position and bring back franchise favorite Nene Leakes.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays on Bravo at 8/7c and streams the following day on Peacock.
