Just when you thought the divorce between Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker could not get any messier, a new allegation has entered the chat.
Popular podcaster Funky Dineva is spilling what he says is the real reason behind the couple’s split. And Media Take Out has confirmed that Dineva is personally friendly with Kandi.
According to Dineva, Kandi allegedly caught Todd cheating during their marriage. The woman at the center of the claims is said to be an Atlanta based private chef named Helen.
On his platform, Dineva claimed that the marriage did not simply fall apart over “irreconcilable differences.” Instead, he alleges that Kandi discovered Todd had been involved with this other woman, which ultimately led to the breakdown of the relationship.
Neither Kandi nor Todd has publicly addressed the cheating claims. As of now, they remain allegations shared by Dineva and have not been independently verified.
What makes the situation even more explosive is the timing.
Todd and Kandi are currently locked in a heated divorce battle, and money is front and center. In recent court filings, Todd has argued that Kandi agreed during their marriage to cover all household expenses, including the mortgage and the children’s costs. He says that arrangement should continue, even as the divorce moves forward.

According to Dineva’s claims, Todd is allegedly now dating the same woman, Helen, who he says was involved during the marriage. If true, that raises eyebrows, especially given that Todd is simultaneously arguing in court that Kandi should continue footing the bills based on their previous financial dynamic.
Again, to be clear, the cheating allegations come from Dineva’s account and have not been confirmed by either party in court documents. The official filings focus on parenting responsibilities, financial support, and temporary custody arrangements.
Still, the optics are messy.
On one hand, Todd is telling the court that Kandi agreed to handle the family’s financial structure and that he should not be penalized now that they are separating. On the other hand, a well known voice in Atlanta media is suggesting that infidelity may have triggered the entire split.
For fans who followed their relationship over the years, this is a dramatic turn. Kandi and Todd built businesses together, appeared publicly as a united front, and presented themselves as a modern power couple.
