Yesterday, rapper Casanova 2X asked a federal judge to give him leniency after pleading guilty in a drug trafficking/ RICO case. In an open letter to the court, the rapper denounced his gang affiliation to prove his commitment to changing his life around.

Unfortunately, new online reports say that that letter nearly cost the rapper his lief.

Media Take Out learned that multiple social media reports are circulating today that Cass was reportedly stabbed yesterday, by members of his former gang, while in federal prison.

In a letter to the judge, the Roc Nation rapper begged the judge for leniency – and he denounced his Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods ties and promises to continue to speak out against gang life.

Casanova, whose real name is Caswell Senior, says that he used the gang life to build a rep in the rap game, but asserts he no longer wants any parts of the fast life.

The gang, according to social media reports, didn’t appreciate what Cass said, and jumped into action. Multiple twitter accounts, which are connected to federal inmates are saying that Cass was attacked yesterday.

It’s not clear how severe the attack was, but the rumors are that Cass had his face slashed and was possibly stabbed by angry members of his former gang.
