A new report claims that Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson were engaged in 2021.
A source with knowledge of the situation has told BuzzFeed News that Tristan proposed in February 2021. The proposal came just a month before he got his new baby mama Maralee Nichols pregnant. The engagement was ended after news of his infidelity broke.
They were engaged for nine months…allegedly.
“While Khloé turned him down at the time, they revisited the subject of an engagement in February 2021, and this time she accepted the proposal. The couple never announced the news officially, but the insider added that they remained engaged until Tristan’s paternity scandal broke 10 months later,” the outlet claims.
Just days ago, Khloe claimed on The Kardashians TV show that she’d turned him down.
“I said, ‘I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I wanna be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone,'” she recalled. “And that’s why I said, ‘I’m not comfortable accepting this right now because I’m not excited to tell my family,’ and as hurtful as that probably was for him to hear, it was the truth. I’m not ever gonna accept something or give someone false hope, and I said that to him.”
