Real Housewives of Potomac couple Chris Basset and wife Candiace have been plagued with rumors of infidelity. In fact, one woman came forward a few months back – and gave an interview to Tasha K, where she claimed to have a full on relationship with Chris. At the time she claimed that Chris broke up with her, after he allegedly forced her to have an abortion.
Well Media Take Out uncovered the truth – and it turns out that she lied. The woman, Ayanna Williams, admitted over the weekend to making up the alleged affair, for clout. She now says that the two NEVER even met, nor have ever had any contact.
The alleged affair by Chris was a central storyline for Candiace’s Real Housewives of Potomac rival Gizelle, who helped blow up the rumor on social media.
Now it looks like Gizelle owes Candiace and Chris an apology too.
The rumored mistress first went viral after she gave an interview with Tasha K, where she provided “receipts” which included fake n**es of Chris, and some fake abortion paperwork.
