Real Housewives Of Potomac’s Chris Dillard, Candiace Bassett’s husband, has had a few run ins with the law. Media Take Out did a bit of digging into Chris’ history – and uncovered that he’s been subject to criminal complaints in the past.
On the last season of Real Housewives of Potomac Chris got into a pretty heated feud with the gorgeous Gizelle Bryant, who is a huge fan of Media Take Out – and we’re a huge fan of hers.
Just days before the filming of the reunion fro the Real Housewives Of Potomac this year, Chris was charged with using profanity language over a public airway, a misdemeanor in Maryland. The complainant was a man named Dustin Wilkins.
What does that mean? Well here’s the law he was charged with violating:
Any person who uses obscene, vulgar, profane, lewd, lascivious, or indecent language, or makes any suggestion or proposal of an obscene nature, or threatens any illegal or immoral act with the intent to coerce, intimidate, or harass any person, over any telephone or citizens band radio, in this Commonwealth, is guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor.
Prosecutors agreed not to prosecute Chris on this charge.
Media Take Out also learned that Chris was charged with drunk driving 9 years ago. Look:
Chris and Gizelle’s feud ignited during season 7 of the Real Housewives of Potomac over claims about Candiace’s husband.
Before the season premiered in October 2022, Gizelle teased trying to tell Candiace about a conversation she had with Chris at the season 6 reunion.
“I was very honest about what I felt happened and I wasn’t like shady about it. I didn’t add any hot sauce to it,” the gorgeous blond star of the Bravio franchise told the media. “I was just like, ‘This is what happened, and I think you should know.’ I didn’t think she was gonna be so angry.”
As cameras were rolling during season 7, Gizelle revealed that a private conversation with Candiace’s husband made her feel uncomfortable. “Many a married man have tried me and I felt like he was trying to see if I was with it,” Gizelle told Robyn Dixon. “He was complaining about his wife. So he was letting me know he was unhappy. Maybe I was supposed to say, ‘Oh, I can make you happy.’ Like, get out of here. He’s a sneaky link!”
