The new season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is now in utter shambles, and it’s all because of Porsha’s estranged husband Simon Guobadia.
Media Take Out spoke with multiple people close to production who tell us that the current season of Bravo’s top rated show has been shut down “indefinitely.”
Here’s the tea. According to our sources, Bravo has been filming for the past two months – with the majority of teh filming taking place inside of Porsha Williams Atlanta mansion.
Two weeks ago, Simon sued Bravo and the production company True entertainment. According to Simon’s lawsuit, he claim that he is the “sole” owner of Porsha’s mansion and that he refuses to give Bravo the rights to film on his property.
Simon and Porsha are locked in a bitter divorce – with each claiming to be the legal owner of the lavish Buckhead mansion.
And until the divorce is finalized, it’s not clear who owns the mansion – and whether Bravo will eventually have the legal rights to the footage filmed on the property.
The TOP brass at Bravo is deciding to play it safe – they will have to throw out all the footage shot so far, and re-shoot it – unless Porsha and Simon can come to an agreement.
Of course Simon is not looking to make things easy for his ex-wife.
The insider explains, “It’s a whole mess. If Porsha can’t get Simon to agree, Bravo will have to reshoot everything which will cost millions. They paused production in hopes that [Porsha] and Simon can work things out.”
