Eddie Murphy made a joke about Will Smith’s Oscar slap at this year’s Golden Globe Awards and Tyrese Gibson spoke out against Murphy and his joke…but Ray J think Tyrese should mind his business.
Murphy referenced the slap in his acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
“It’s very simple, just do these three things: pay your taxes, mind your business and keep Will Smith’s wife’s name out your f-cking mouth,” Murphy said.
Tyrese hopped on social media and wrote: “I’m still team WILL SMITH there’s nobody on this earth that will ever influence me to ever have a change of heart towards the BIGGEST INFLUENCE in my life,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a few red carpet photos with Smith.
And that’s when Ray J decided to hop into the fray.
“Tyrese better mind his own biz! You’re not on Eddie’s level!!! To think you can tell Axel Foley or Hakeem, the Prince of Zamunda to ‘move on already’? You better show some respect, Tyrese, before Will slaps you back into reality – yeah i said it! You know how i feel about you and your antics! Dont play with my mentors!! It wont end well!!” he said.
