During a recent appearance on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast, Ray J was asked about his previous statement that he has been intimate with more than 11,500 women.
“I did a booby trap party when I reached 10,000,” Ray J said during the interview. “So we did a celebration… It was a massive parade.”
Newton then asked whether Ray J meant 10,000 different partners. Ray J said yes.
“10,000, I think, yeah… a little bit more now,” he said. “These are 10,000 different people… It’s at like 12,500 now.”
Newton responded by doing the math out loud, saying the total would average more than one partner a day for decades.
Ray J pushed back on that calculation, saying his busiest years were while touring.
“The math is different,” he said, adding that there were times he was with “five to ten women a day.”
Newton appeared skeptical and continued pressing him on the numbers, and at one point, Ray J turned the conversation back on the former quarterback and asked about his own “body count.”
“That’s too much energy, bro,” Newton replied. “I don’t even crack 1,000, bro.”
Ray J then questioned the answer, while Newton insisted that the number did not match his lifestyle.
