Trick Daddy Kicked Off Stage! AKA Sorority SHUTS DOWN Concert After “Disrespectful” Rapper Asks Distinguished Ladies For “Sexual Favors”! (DETAILS)
Media Take Out has the absolute messiest story coming out of the Greek world tonight! While the ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. (AKA) were gathered for their 73rd South Atlantic Regional Conference (SARC) in Charlotte, North Carolina, what was supposed to be a “celebratory” night turned into a complete disaster.
The organization—which boasts members like Vice President Kamala Harris—reportedly contracted Miami rapper Trick Daddy to perform after their Step and Stroll Competition. But according to our insiders, Trick Daddy forgot who he was talking to!
The “Disrespect” Heard ‘Round The Room
The room was filled with the “upper echelon” of Black excellence: judges, CEOs, politicians, and high-powered businesswomen. But sources tell Media Take Out that Trick Daddy ignored the “no-cussing” and “clean lyrics” clause in his contract almost immediately.
The breaking point? Trick Daddy reportedly leaned into the crowd and asked the distinguished ladies if any of them wanted their “py eaten”* and made several other vulgar, graphic comments that had the pink and green “Skee-Wees” turning into “Skee-Nos!”
“It was disgusting,” one AKA member told us. “Most of the sisters just stood up and walked out. We are a sisterhood of dignity, and he treated the room like a 3:00 AM club in Overtown. The disrespect was on another level.”
The Official Shutdown: Tiffany Moore Russell Speaks
The South Atlantic Regional Director, Tiffany Moore Russell, didn’t let the disrespect slide for long. She personally stepped in and ended the performance early, pulling the plug on the “Mayor of 305.”
In a powerful statement released to the sorority (see the image above), Director Russell made it clear that Trick Daddy’s team was given specific requirements regarding “attire, language, and specific songs,” all of which were “ignored.”
“I ended the performance because of the disrespect for our organization and for our brand,” Russell wrote. “Thank you, my sisters, for extending grace and for continuing to uphold the standards of dignity that define Alpha Kappa Alpha.”
Trick Daddy’s History Of “Mouth” Problems
This isn’t the first time Trick Daddy has landed in hot water for his “unfiltered” views on women. Just last year, he went viral for calling women over 35 “damaged goods”—a comment that clearly didn’t sit well with a room full of successful, mature AKAs.
While Trick Daddy has yet to issue an official apology, his “trash-talking” reputation is currently being dragged through the mud on Black Twitter. One viral tweet read: “Trick Daddy really thought he could talk to a room full of Ph.Ds and Judges like they were in a Slip-N-Slide video. The delusion!”
Did the AKAs do the right thing by cutting his mic, or should they have known what they were getting with Trick Daddy? Let us know in the comments!
