Smmrs, one of the most popular young rapper with teenagers was beat up and robbed last night, as he performed at Boxiest NYC, a concert held at Irving Plaza. Irving Plaza has become an infamous venue …. it’s the concert hall where Troy Ave and podcaster Taxstone got into it, and Troy Ave’s best friend was gunned down.
Media Take Out spoke with multiple people in the venue who told us that Smmrs was attacked by Homixide Gang, and their crew. Homixide Gang is a 22 yr old rap duo hailing from the South Side of Atlanta Georgia which consists of Homixide Meechie and Homixide Beno. Homixide Gang are affiliated with the hip hop artist Playboi Cart – and they are VERY active in the streets of Atlanta.
What happened between the rappers? No one knows yet, but as you can see in the video, the Atlanta goons beat the mess out of Smmrs and took all of his jewelry as the mostly White crowd looked on and continued dancing to the music.

Smmrs is a rapper, singer and songwriter from Louisiana who releases much of his music on SoundCloud. e is known as one of the pioneers and is a prominent rap figure of the plugg’s subgenre pluggnb.
Summrs was a member of Slayworld during its active years in the streets. His February 2023 album Stuck In My Ways peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Top Heatseekers chart, followed shortly by his album What We Didn’t Have going to number 24 on the same chart in September.
