Rapper and singer Sean Kingston was booked into the Broward County jail on Sunday after being arrested in connection with a million-dollar fraud scheme.

A Broward County judge set Kingston’s bond at $100,000 bond. He is facing 10 fraud and theft charges.

Kingston’s mother Janice Turner, was arrested the same day as Kingston after a SWAT team raided his Fort Lauderdale, Florida rental.

Kingston has been charged with one count of organized scheme to defraud, four counts of criminal use of personal identification information, two counts of grand theft greater than $100,000, one count of grand theft greater than $20,000, and one count of fraud.

The singer is also being charged with violating his two-year probation period for trafficking stolen property. In February, Ver Ver Entertainment sued him for breach of contract and fraud for allegedly failing to pay for a 232-inch TV and premium sound system, court documents show.

His mother is facing eight charges:

  • One count of organized scheme to defraud.
  • Three counts of criminal use of personal identification information.
  • Two counts of grand theft over $100,000.
  • One count of grand theft over $20,000.
  • One count of fraud.
