Rapper Lil Wayne got a brand new face … and it has many in the entertainment community wondering whether the rapper recently got a facelift, Media Take Out has learned.
Lil Wayne has a history of serious drug abuse, and it’s taken a toll on his career – and his looks. Media Take Out confirmed that Wayne suffered from a codeine addiction for nearly 20 years. And even though he’s now claims to have beaten the disease, he still has a lot of the scars.
But this weekend, Wayne popped up in Atlanta looking like a new man. According to the images, which his longtime friend Missy Elliot posted online, Wayne’s face appears to be at least 20 years younger.
As soon as the image was posted, thousands on Twitter immediately began speculating that Wayne had to have undergone some sort of surgical procedure on his face.
Missy posted this pic:
Lil Wayne has sold over 120 million records worldwide, including more than 20 million albums and 70 million digital tracks in the United States, making him one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
Regarded as one of the most influential hip hop artists of his generation by XXL, he has often been cited as one of the greatest rappers of all time.
He has won five Grammy Awards, 11 BET Awards, four Billboard Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and eight NAACP Image Awards. On September 27, 2012, he became the first male artist to surpass Elvis Presley with the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100, with 109 songs.
Lil Wayne also currently serves as the chief executive officer (CEO) of his own label, Young Money Entertainment.
